OnlySurfboards Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance
By accessing and using OnlySurfboards ("the site", "the platform", "we") you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. What OnlySurfboards is
OnlySurfboards is a catalog and classifieds board for new and used surfboards. We connect people who want to sell a board with people who want to buy one. We are an intermediary: we are not party to any transaction, we do not take part in the negotiation, we do not receive or process payments, and we do not deliver or hold the boards. Contact and the sale happen directly between users, outside the platform.
3. No verification or warranty
We do not verify the identity of sellers, the condition, provenance, authenticity or ownership of the boards posted, nor the truthfulness of the information in the listings. We do not guarantee that a board exists, is available, or that its description is accurate. Any reference to "featured", "popular" or similar boards is organizational and does not imply any endorsement or warranty on our part.
4. Use at your own risk
Transactions you start through the site are at your own responsibility and risk. We recommend taking reasonable precautions: inspect the board in person, confirm ownership and agree on payment securely. We are not responsible for scams, fraud, defective, stolen or counterfeit products, nor for any dispute, loss or damage arising from contact or a transaction between users.
5. Listings
Only surfboard listings are allowed. One listing = one board. Posting other products, services, spam or unrelated content is prohibited. We reserve the right to remove any listing that does not comply.
6. Your content and intellectual property
By posting, you declare that you hold the rights to the content you upload (photos, text) and that its use does not infringe third-party rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform in order to operate the service. If you believe a listing infringes your rights (for example, photos used without permission), write to us at contact@onlysurfboards.com and we will remove it through our notice-and-takedown process.
7. Prohibited uses
You may not use the site to: carry out illegal activities; post false, misleading, offensive content or content that infringes third-party rights; impersonate others; collect other users' data; or interfere with the operation of the site.
8. Service "as is"
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including continuous availability, absence of errors or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnlySurfboards will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the site or from transactions between users. Nothing in these terms limits liabilities that cannot be excluded by law (for example, willful misconduct or gross negligence).
10. Indemnification
You agree to hold OnlySurfboards harmless against claims, losses or expenses arising from your use of the site, your listings or your breach of these terms.
11. Suspension and removal
We reserve the right to remove listings and to suspend or cancel access for users who breach these terms, at our discretion and without prior notice.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its last-updated date. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of the changes.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica.
